Soak In the Green

We’ll start our trip from X, paddling slowly through Ljubljana Marshes Nature Park, its unique natural landscape and wildlife. The River Ljubljanica was the main force that helped in the creation of the marches through history. You’ll have a perfect view of a unique intertwine of meadows, fields, hedges, and channels, where the green surfaces meet with the sky. If you remember one thing about Slovenia, it will probably be the color of green. With more than half of its total area covered in forest, Slovenia is one of the greenest countries in the world.

Make Memories

While entering to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia and the home of its 300.000 residents, you’ll have a chance to paddle next to the city’s “lounge area”. You’ll have a perfect view of the vibrant embankments, with a number of locals and tourists sitting on terraces of Ljubljana’s lively cafés and hanging out on the riverside. Your tour guide will give you a quick overview of the most notable landmarks. He’ll also make sure to provide you with enough time to make some memories with your camera on the best photo spots.

Slide under the Impressive Bridges

Ljubljanica is believed to have been first spanned by a bridge in the Roman period. It used to be a major Roman trade and supply route. You’ll have an opportunity to make some amazing photos of the best known Ljubljana bridges, such as Dragon Bridge with its scary dragonfly sculptures. We’ll also go around and bellow famous Triple Bridge, the work of the world-renowned 20 centuries architect Jože Plečnik, who also arranged the urban planning of the central part of the city.
